Earning a GED is no small feat. For Adult Education student Brandon Griggs, the journey to this milestone was filled with personal challenges that could have easily discouraged him.

Yet, through perseverance, hard work, and an unwavering commitment to his goals, Griggs not only earned his GED but also received the Robert Giuffrida Memorial Scholarship, awarded to students who demonstrate exceptional dedication and resilience in their pursuit of education.

“Earning a GED was a goal I wasn’t going to give up on,” Griggs said. “There were times I doubted myself, but I knew this was the first step to building a better future.”

Griggs will now attend Jamestown Community College to continue his education.
