Other highlights of the event include face painting for children, school bus safety and crafts with the staff from the Falconer Library. Alan Gustafson Jr., Falconer Village Board member, will be on hand to provide information to residents on the Village’s 2025 NY Forward application. The village is seeking the public’s input for the upcoming application which will be submitted this fall.

Refreshments and ice cream will be available to purchase from the Falconer Kiwanis and Cups and Cones.

“This year, we are pleased to have our local Elliott Police Officers here and we are also very happy to have the addition of the specialized teams from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department on hand. It shows the strong partnership of our local fire and police agencies and how a community comes together for the common good,” said Kerry Chase, founding member and leader of the Falconer Neighborhood Watch and organizer of the event.

As part of the celebration for the National Night Out, Falconer residents are encouraged to leave their outside lights out to promote safety and celebrate the partnership of residents and law enforcement.
