FALCONER – The Kiwanis Club of Falconer recently unveiled its new popcorn cart during a recent concert in Davis Park.

Brent Harkness, Associate Professor and Chair of Engineering and Technology at the JCC Manufacturing Technology Institute, had his students build the cart as part of a class project at no cost to the club. He credits his welding students at MTI “for a job well done.”

Once the students completed the cart, Brad Woodward of Brad’s Autobody donated his services by painting and detailing the cart.

The Kiwanis Club uses the money raised through its sales of popcorn and other food items during concerts in the park to help fund projects for the local community.
