Boys & Girls Club Youth Swim Lessons Begin Sept. 23

The Winifred Crawford Dibert Boys & Girls of Jamestown will be starting a new session of youth swim lessons on Sept. 23.

The club uses the American Red Cross system of progressive instruction for beginning to advanced swimmers with placement in classes that encourage and support each child’s efforts and abilities. The classes are for ages 5 and up.

The swim lesson registration fee is $40 per participant for the full eight-week program. A Boys & Girls Club membership is also required and available for $25.00 for one full year of membership.

Swim lessons are scheduled in 45 minute sessions.

Level 1-2 Classes are offered: Tuesday at 4:45 p.m., Thursday at 5:30 p.m., Friday at 4:45 p.m. and Saturday at 9:30 a.m.

Level 3-4 Classes are offered: Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.; Wednesday at 4:45 p.m., Thursday at 4:45 p.m., and Fridays at 5:30 p.m..

Level 5-6 Classes are offered: Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m..

In addition Thursday afternoons we offer swim lessons for homeschool students-Levels 1-2 at 1:15 p.m.; Levels 3-4 at 2 p.m. and Levels 5-6 at 2:45 p.m.

Full payment must be made on the first day of attendance. In order to ensure optimal instruction, class sizes are limited.

All youth programming at the Boys & Girls Club is funded in part by the United Way of Southern Chautauqua County. The club is a United Way community partner.
