Zonta Club Welcomes New Members, Installs Officers

The Zonta Club of Jamestown, part of Zonta International, whose mission is to build a better world for women and girls, has inducted six new members and installed its 2025-26 executive officers during a recent ceremony at the Chautauqua Harbor Hotel.

Rosie Papalia, area director, presided over the ceremonies with assistance from past president Eileen Healy.

2025-26 officers are: Marcia Restivo, president; Beth Jermain, president elect; Deb Piotrowski, vice president; Mary Cook, secretary; Bonnie DeJoy, treasurer; Jill Colburn, assistant treasurer; and directors Candace Carlson, Michelle Tambascio, Jo Haumesser and Bethany O’Hagan

The club welcomed the following people into membership: Holley Clough, Jessica Jacques, Ellie Nickeson, Sherry Osborne, Terrie Tucker, and Holly Wescott. Each inductee received the traditional yellow rose symbolizing Zonta fellowship and a membership pin.

Founded in 1921, the Zonta Club of Jamestown is one of more than 1,100 clubs in 63 countries working to build a better world for women and girls. The club meets twice monthly and hosts service projects, educational programs, and fund-raising events that benefit local and international causes.
