WCA Foundation Welcomes New Board Members

The WCA Foundation has appointed two new members to its board: Jeffery A. Piazza and Peter Morgante.

Both directors will serve a three-year term.

Jeffery A. Piazza has a long career in public service and the legal profession, recently retiring from an elected position as the Chautauqua County Family Court judge.

“Judge Piazza’s leadership, integrity, and commitment to our community well-being will be a great asset to the board,” said Kristin Melville, WCA Foundation executive director.

Peter Morgante, CPA, brings decades of experience in financial planning and accounting. Morgante is the chief financial officer at Hope’s Windows Inc.

“Peter Morgante’s expertise will support the foundation’s continued efforts to ensure transparency, sustainability, and impactful donor stewardship” said Jim Domagola, foundation treasurer and finance chair.

The WCA Foundation board of directors guides the foundation’s work and ensures the effective use of donor gifts to support UPMC Chautauqua. The WCA Foundation is in its 43rd year, having contributed $14 million supporting medical care of the citizens of Chautauqua County.

“We are honored to welcome Judge Piazza and Mr. Morgante to the WCA Foundation board,” said Jim Pullan, foundation board chair. “Their combined knowledge, leadership, and commitment to the community will strengthen our mission of advancing exceptional healthcare for the citizens of Chautauqua County at UPMC Chautauqua.”
