Southwestern MS Inducts 42 Into Honor Society

Southwestern Middle School officials recently inducted 42 seventh- and eight-grade students into the school’s chapter of the Junior Honor Society.

Candidates are selected based on scholarship, leadership, character, service, and citizenship. Eighth-graders inducted are Natalynn Bishop, Johnna Farrell, Gabriella Chimenti, Landon LaCrout, Wesley Clark, Anjolyna Quijano-Fuentes, Kenneth Erickson and Natalie Strandburg.

Seventh-graders inducted are: Joseph Anthony, Noah Lindell, Ethan Arnone, Owen Mank, Gabriella Bango, Liam McCartney, Alexa Bemis, Akeley Meredith, Kendal Bouckhuyt, Addison Neligh, Wyatt Buck, Drayton Ross, Andrew Cama, Rosemary Segrue, Travis Carpenter, Gianna Sirianni, Ada Chen, Ethan Smrekar, Owen Clark, Collin Strong, Thomas Clark, Zoey Stump, Parker Colburn, Tripp Swartz, Shane DuBois, Bentley Vincent, Kensington Engels, Paul Webb, Breanna Horton, Melody Yocum, Kurt Johnson, Halle Young, Serenity Licciardi and Cynthia Zheng.

The induction ceremony was held in the Southwestern High School auditorium. Marge Gustafson is the Southwestern Middle School Junior Honor Society advisor. New members of the Southwestern Middle School Junior Honor Society were congratulated by Greg Lauer, middle school principal, and Maureen Donahue, district superintendent.
