A quilt with a blue and yellow Swedish design is pictured. The quilt will be given away at the upcoming Scandinavian Folk Festival.

Every person aged 13 and up who enters the Scandinavian Folk Festival will receive a ticket to sign up for the door prize.

Straight inside the entrance one will see the full size quilt, valued at $500, with a blue and yellow Swedish design. There is no additional cost to enter the giveaway and no tickets can be purchased. The drawing will be at 3:45 p.m. Sunday, July 20. One need not be present to win.

The quilt is designed and made by Cara Staviski from New Jersey, one of the vendors at this year’s festival. A donation has been received to partially support the door prize from the Ralph C Wilson Jr. Foundation Arts and Cultural Initiative administered by the Community Foundation of Greater Buffalo.

The Scandinavian Folk Festival, located in the Northwest Arena in Jamestown, will occur Saturday, July 19, from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. followed by a concert by ABBAMANIA Canada at 7:30 p.m. On Sunday, July 20, the festival is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information visit Scandinavianjamestown.org or call 716-665-0883.
