CLCS Celebrates May Students of the Month

MAYVILLE – As the school year draws to a close, Chautauqua Lake Central School recognized its May Students of the Month. They are:
Parker Wellman, seventh grade, is a punctual and persistent student who consistently demonstrates a purposeful and mature approach to learning. His perceptive nature and practical mindset help him quickly grasp challenging concepts and apply them with confidence. Always polite and principled, Parker fosters a respectful classroom environment and brings a positive outlook and strong initiative to all he does.
Ella Dixon, eighth grade, has shown tremendous growth, emerging as a thoughtful leader and motivated learner. Her strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative have been especially evident in class projects and during STEM Wars, where she led with maturity and confidence. Ella’s teachers are proud of her progress and leadership, and her continued growth is a reflection of her commitment to excellence.
Victoria Carris, ninth grade, stands out as a kind, conscientious, and hardworking student who is always striving to do her best. Her positive attitude and empathetic nature make her a supportive classmate, while her strong time management skills and willingness to seek help show a deep commitment to success. Victoria consistently goes above and beyond in her academic work and remains a thoughtful and active presence in every class.
James Davis, 10th grade, is a dedicated and thoughtful student who approaches learning with focus, kindness, and a passion for understanding the world. He is known for his strong sense of justice, often advocating for his classmates and standing up for what’s right. His teachers admire his integrity, his love for history and English, and his consistent willingness to lead through empathy and action.
Carson Fairbank, 11th grade, exemplifies consistency, dedication, and confidence in all areas of his academic life. He sets high expectations for himself and meets them with determination and focus. Always organized and kind, Carson is a model of quiet leadership who brings both initiative and positivity to the classroom each day.
Alyssa Brown, 12th grade, has shown great perseverance and growth throughout her senior year. Known for her respectful attitude and self-motivation, Alyssa continues to challenge herself and maintain a high standard of academic excellence. Her maturity and commitment to her goals make her a respected and inspiring member of the senior class.
