The Cassadaga Valley Central School Future Farmers of America concluded their year with their annual banquet recently.

Severalmembers were recognized for their contributions throughout the year and were granted a number of awards.

Discovery Degree recipients were Hunter Hattaway, Talia Fanara, Denza Fanara, Anastzia Hale, Emma Nickerson, James McChensey, Dominick DeGolier, Jackson Hattaway, Elliona Echevarria, Christopher Hubler, Joshua Davis and Hayley Reed.

Greenhand Degree recipients were Makenzie Lahnen, Taylor Lahnen, Maddison McLane and Payton Meder.

The Chapter Degree recipient was Keyamari Keys.

District 10 LDE recipients were:

– Interview Skills: Taylor Lahnen, Jackson Hattaway and Dominick DeGolier.

– Jr. Creed Speaking: Makenzie Lahnen (and sub-state qualifier).

– Extemporaneous Speaking: Keyamari Keys, and Maddison McLane.

CDE State Finalists were:

– Maple Production: Taylor Lahnen, Dominick DeGolier, Christopher Hubler and Joshua Davis

– Vet Science Team 1: Elliona Echevarria, Maddison McLane, Joshua Davis and Jackson Davis

– Vet Science Team 2: Payton Meder, Keyamari Keys, Taylor Lahnen and Makenzie Lahnen

– Sr. Quiz Bowl Team: Keyamari Keys, Payton Meder, Maddison McLane and Makenzie Lahnen

Members participated in competitive events including districts, sub-states, and the NY State Convention.
