Desiree Davis, a contestant on Season 11 of Allt for Sverige Allt for Sverige ( Everything for Sweden or The Great Swedish Adventure) will appear Saturday, July 19, as part of the Scandinavian Folk Festival.

Davis her experiences on the show and what she learned about her family and Sweden. Davis is a local, living near Erie in Girard, Pa., and was a contestant on the show which features Americans discovering their Scandinavian connections. The event will also include a discussion of how to win a chance to compete.

Big in Sweden, a novelization by another contestant, Sally Franson, about her experience on the show in Season 10 was published in 2024.
