Southwestern Names Students Of Month

Southwestern Middle School officials recently released the school’s Students of the Month for May. They are:

Peyton Skoglund, sixth grade and the daughter of Katie and Chris Skoglund. Her favorite subjects in school are science, art, ELA, and choir. Peyton plays in the Babe Ruth Softball League and hopes to join cheer. She belongs to the Crochet Club and Quiz Bowl. Outside of school, Peyton participates in the Tiffany Wakeley Academy of Dance. In her free time, she enjoys playing with her puppy, going shopping, spending time with friends, and listening to Taylor Swift. One fun fact about Peyton is that she is ambidextrous.

Wyatt Buck, seventh grade and the son of Adlana and Brad Buck. Wyatt’s favorite subjects in school are math and gym. Outside of school, he participates in the Boy Scouts of America Troop 129 and the Busti Historical Society. When Wyatt’s not at school, he enjoys riding his snowmobile and four-wheelers, spending time with family, watching TV, playing Astrobot, putting together LEGOs, and deer hunting. One fun fact about him is that he has put together about one hundred sets of LEGOs, including one that was 10,001 pieces.

Kenneth Erickson, eighth grade and the son of Miranda and Ken Erickson. His favorite subject in school is social studies. Kenneth participates in the school band and choir. He also belongs to the Southwestern varsity swim team. When he’s not at school, he enjoys swimming and playing with friends. One fun fact about Kenneth is that he is left-handed.
