SOUTH DAYTON – The American Library Association has awarded the South Dayton Village Library a $20,000 grant through their Libraries Transforming Communities Initiative.

The South Dayton Village Library is dependent upon grants, donations, and volunteers to continue to provide services to the community. This grant provides an opportunity for the library to support individuals with disabilities with a special focus on those with neurodivergent tendencies. The library will host an open house at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. July 3 to hear from those in the neurodivergent community, including families, caregivers, and advocates, to gather input on how the grant money should be spent.

Light refreshments will be served. For reservations, call or text 716-863-7992.

Starting at $3.50/week.
