Rio

Rio is a brand new arrival to the Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue, coming from an overcrowded shelter that had no room for him. This little 8 pound guy is guessed to be a Chihuahua mix, full-grown at around 1 year old. He is a super sweet little cuddlebug, although he can be a little clingy and does not like to be left behind. He is happiest when he’s with people, and will gladly go with someone anywhere. Rio is working on his housetraining manners and basic obedience skills. He loves just about everyone he meets, gets along with most other dogs, but would rather chase cats than make friends with them.
