Aspire Art On Display At Hazeltine Library

Several artists from the IXpress Art program at Aspire are featured at the Hazeltine Public Library throughout the month of June.
“There is a wide selection of art work using multiple types of media,” said Terry Lair, IXpress Art Program facilitator. “Our clients have created art with jewelry, cardboard as well as the more typical watercolors and acrylics and each piece has been named.”
The display is up through the month of June and can be seen during open library hours.
“This is the perfect example of the partnerships libraries have with their communities,” said Katie Smith, library director. “We are so pleased to showcase these unique and different pieces. Our wall is available for other artists – just call or stop in and learn how your work can be shared with friends, neighbors and other library patrons.”
The Hazeltine Public Library is located at 891 Busti-Sugar Grove Road, Busti. There is off-street parking and the library is handicapped accessible. For more information, call the library at 716-487-1281
