Zonta Club Hosts Inaugural Mrs. Roper Romp

Members of the Zonta Club of Jamestown are pictured as Mrs. Roper from 1970s sitcom Three’s Company in preparation for the club’s inaugural Mrs. Roper Romp on June 14.
The Zonta Club of Jamestown is bringing color, laughter, and community spirit to the city by hosting its inaugural Mrs. Roper Romp on June 14.
Inspired by the beloved character Helen Roper from the classic TV show Three’s Company, participants will don vibrant caftans, oversized jewelry, and big smiles as they walk through downtown Jamestown to several local establishments that will offer specialty drinks and snacks for purchase.
The event begins at 1 p.m. at the Northwest Arena, 319 W. Third St., Jamestown. The cost is $10 at the door. Those attending should wear full Mrs. Roper attire. This is a co-ed, over 21, rain or shine event.
Organizers hope the turnout will exceed expectations, with dozens of “Mrs. Ropers” flooding the streets.
Proceeds from the event will support Zonta’s scholarship programs, advocacy initiatives, and service projects. For more information about the Zonta Club of Jamestown, visit www.zontajamestown.org.
