Zonta Club Honors Scholarship Recipients

From left are Kimberly Delcamp and Quinn Putney, recipients of scholarships from the Zonta Club of Jamestown.
The Zonta Club of Jamestown, dedicated to building a better world for women and girls, recently honored seven young women at a special program meeting held at the Chautauqua Harbor Hotel.
These students were recognized as recipients of Zonta-funded scholarships, which support young women who demonstrate leadership in their schools and communities and are pursuing careers in business, entrepreneurship, or other professional fields.
The club supports six distinct scholarships, made possible through the generosity of donors and administered by the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation. The scholarships are awarded annually to students who embody the Zonta mission.
During the program, two scholarship recipients – Kimberly Delcamp of Westfield and Quinn Putney of Mayville – were introduced along with their guests. Each shared insights about their academic journeys, career aspirations and the people or experiences that have had a meaningful impact on their lives.
The remaining five recipients, who were unable to attend in person, submitted written reflections that were read aloud by members of the Zonta Scholarship Committee. These recipients are Gabriella Demorest, Raylynn Digirolamo, Caylee Ames, Julianna Main and Holly Morgenstern, each of whom has demonstrated exceptional promise and a strong commitment to personal and professional growth.
The Zonta Scholarship Committee is composed of members Julie Dudgeon, Cheryl Gray, Beth Jermain and Christine Melice, with Michelle Tambascio and Carol Hay serving as co-chairs.
All Zonta scholarships are managed through the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation. Individuals interested in supporting the future of young women in the region are encouraged to contribute to the scholarship funds. Donations can be made in memory or honor of a loved one by visiting onlinecrcf.org or calling the CRCF office directly.
Young women seeking financial assistance to pursue higher education can apply for Zonta scholarships through the CRCF’s annual scholarship application process.
