Suzy Is NCCR Dog Of Week

Suzy
The Northern Chautauqua County Pet of the Week is Suzy, who has been waiting for a hound lover to notice her. She was rescued from an overwhelmed shelter to give her the best chance at finding her forever home, but so far she has been flying under the radar. She is a young, tricolor girl between 2 and 3 years of age. Suzy is definitely a hound, but whether she’s mixed with Beagle or just on the small side for the breed at only 40 pounds is anybody’s guess. She loves to go for sniff walks with her nose to the ground, as most hounds do. She may be partially house trained, but likely will need a brush-up on her skills in a new home. She has a set of unparallelled pipes and loves nothing more than to sing the song of her people at high volume. Suzy enjoys playing with other dogs, but she can play rough. Read more about Suzy and her adoptable friends, and submit an adoption application online, at www.caninerescue.org or visit the shelter and meet the dogs in person Monday through Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. at 7540 N. Gale St., Westfield, no appointment needed. For more information email adoptions@caninerescue.org.
