Ron Swanson, this week’s Chautauqua County Humane Society Pet of the Wee, is named after the character on Parks and Recreation. He’s deep down friendly, funny and sentimental; he just can’t let you see that he truly cares and like that character he enjoys the outside and being challenged with learning new things. All animals adopted from the Humane Society have been spayed or neutered, are up to date for vaccinations, and have a microchip. The Chautauqua County Humane Society is located at 2825 Strunk Road, Jamestown, and is open from 1 to 5:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays.
