Reg Lenna To Screen ‘Warfare’ Today

The Reg Lenna Center for the Arts will screen the film Warfare at 7 p.m. today.

Written and directed by Iraq War veteran Ray Mendoza and Alex Garland (Civil War, 28 Days Later), Warfare (Wed., May 21 at 7 p.m.) embeds audiences with a platoon of American Navy SEALs in the home of an Iraqi family, overwatching the movement of US forces through insurgent territory. Warfare is a boots-on-the-ground story of modern warfare, told like never before: in real time and based on the memory of the people who lived it. Warfare is rated R and is 95 minutes long.

Upcoming Movies at The Reg include Carey Mulligan in the music comedy The Ballad of Wallis Island (May 28 at 7 p.m.), the fantasy adventure The Legend of Ochi (May 30 at 7 p.m.), and a Jamestown Pride week showing of the 2014 historical film Pride (June 4 at 7 p.m.)

Tickets for most Movies at The Reg are $8 in-person at the box office and $10 online (reglenna.com) and by calling 716-484-7070. Family showings are $7 in-person at the box office and $9 online and by phone. Special engagements are priced differently. The theater and box office at The Reg are located at 116 E. Third St., Jamestown. The box office is open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from noon to 5 p.m. and one hour before movies and events.

Starting at $3.50/week.
