Panama Methodist Church recently hosted a Panama Village Clean-Up Day organized by George Anderson. More than 20 people walked the village streets and surrounding town roads and collected 2½ truckloads of garbage. Several Panama Central School students earned community service hours while participating in the clean-up. The village of Panama donated supplies including safety vests and the Panama Garage disposed of the tires pulled from the ditches. Refreshments were served at the church following the event.
