MAYVILLE – The North Lake Fire Department held its annual Easter egg hunt recently at Lakeside Park in Mayville. It was well attended by hundreds of area children, all in search of prizes and a chance at a bicycle. The Easter Bunny arrived in a fire truck to greet the children and photo opportunities. This year’s event was made possible by donations from community businesses. Donations helped firefighters fill more than 10,000 eggs, give away six bicycles and other prizes.
