JHS Announces March Students Of Month

Jamestown High School officials recently announced the school’s March Students of the Month. They are:
Aiyanna Stam, a freshman and the daughter of Katie Stam and Sam Scott. Aiyanna is a multi-sport athlete in volleyball, basketball, and softball; she was also 2nd team all-league in basketball. After high school she plans on studying sonography at Duke University.
Riley Johnson, a sophomore and daughter of Shane and Melissa Johnson. Riley is the public relations officer for the sophomore class. She is also a member of the girls varsity softball team. In her spare time, Riley enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering at local events.
Dominic Gonzalez, a junior and the son of Karla and Ricky Gonzalez. Dominic is a member and a captain of the JHS varsity football team and varsity basketball team. He also enjoys traveling with his AAU Under Armor Basketball team. After graduation, Dominic plans to continue his education and basketball career. His college plans are still being determined.
Brighton Lumia, a senior and the son of Scott and Jennifer Lumia. Brighton is the treasurer of National Honor Society and treasurer of Student Council. Additionally, he plays french horn and piano in Concert Band, viola in Chamber Orchestra, and sings in the A Cappella Choir. After school he runs track, plays soccer, and marches in the marching band. After graduating, he plans to attend the University of Rochester and major in chemical engineering.
