Garfield, this week’s Chautauqua County Humane Society Pet of the Week, is a quiet soul, more of a listener than a talker. He is gentle, never one to cause a fuss. He prefers to sit back and observe, to understand his surroundings. He craves companionship, a kind voice and a gentle touch. Meet Garfield at the Chautauqua County Humane Society. All animals adopted from the Humane Society have been spayed or neutered, are up to date for vaccinations, and have a microchip. The Chautauqua County Humane Society is located at 2825 Strunk Road in Jamestown, open from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
