JHS Names Students Of Month For December

Jamestown High School officials recently named the school’s Students of the Month for December. They are:
Jackson Grey, ninth grade and the son of Doug and Tracy Grey. Jackson is a captain on the junior varsity football team and plays freshman basketball and junior varsity baseball. In his spare time, Jackson likes to hang out with his friends and likes to go to the football field. After graduation, he plans to attend college, and hopes to play college football.
Layla Amatuzzo, 1 0th grade and the daughter of Crystal Horton and Nick Amatuzzo. Layla is co-captain of the junior varsity volleyball team. She also dances with Dancing with Victoria, and plays travel volleyball for 716-United. After graduation she plans to go to college.
Abbee Brandow, 11th grade and the daughter of Jessica and Mike Brandow. Abbee is treasurer of Key Club and part of the Student Organization. She also is captain for the girls varsity basketball team and is a member of the girls varsity soccer and girls varsity flag football teams. Abbee is also a member of the Jamestown High School Marching Band and Concert Band, playing baritone for both. In her spare time, Abbee enjoys spending time with family and friends while volunteering around the community. After graduation, she plans to study forensic chemistry.
Braelyn Peterson, 12th grade and daughter of Elizabeth Peterson. Braelyn is Senior Class co-president and is a member of the National Honor Society. Braelyn is also a dancer at Dancing With Victoria Performing Arts Centre and a teacher to many of the young students there. In her free time, Braelyn also volunteers in the special education room at school. After high school, Braelyn plans to attend college to study criminal justice.
