Chautauqua Adult Day Care Adds Three Board Members

Chautauqua Adult Day Care has named three area residents to its board of directors: John Felton, Hector Alverio and Erick Johsnon.
Felton began his credit union career at Southern Chautauqua Federal Credit Union in 1987. The community-chartered credit union operates five retail branches and four student-run High School Branches. The Southern Chautauqua Federal Credit Union is an NCUA Low Income Designated Credit Union, and the only Community Development Financial Institution credit union in Chautauqua County. The credit union was recently awarded the Juntos Avanzamos designation from Inclusiv recognizing their Hispanic outreach efforts. The Southern Chautauqua Federal Credit Union has previously received the Desjardins Financial Education Award and The Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Community Service Award from the New York Credit Union Association and has been recognized by the National Youth Involvement Board for their Kids’ Credit Union program. Felton serves on several local and state boards. He lives in Jamestown, NY with his family and enjoys traveling, family time, and the occasional golf game.
Alverio is a longtime Chautauqua County resident and has been involved in several community events and is partnered with several community organizations. He has a long fundraising history in the area, but most people know Hector as the owner and operator of The Hot Spot Cafe in Jamestown and Hot Spot on the Run, which is his mobile food truck.
Erick Johnson comes to the board with a long background in information technology. He worked at CAE Ultrasonics as an electrical engineer and at Trinity Biotech before starting his career at Southern Tier Graphics. He has been employed with them for more than 20 years and is their senior IT manager. Johnson is a lifetime resident of Chautauqua County, growing up in Gerry. He and his family now live in Kiantone. He enjoys working with technology and being able to solve problems. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his friends and family.
