The Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue’s Dog of the Week is Jimmy Carter, who arrived at the shelter recently after being found wandering locally. He is a 10-12 month old neutered male husky, just about fully-grown. Jimmy Carter does everything with energy and joyful enthusiasm whether it’s chewing on a toy, running in the yard, going for a walk or playing with a friend. His exuberance may be a bit too much for small kids and pets to handle, but he seems to get along well with other dogs who can match his energy, and he loves every person he meets. He’s doing well with keeping his kennel clean and may be house trained.
