Members of the Harmony Senior Citizens met recently for a Thanksgiving dinner complete with a variety of desserts.

Forty seven members and guests were present. June Whipple and Dottie Enlow co-chaired the meeting. Chaplain Marty LaFredo read “God’s Autumn Days”, offered the dinner prayer and led the salute to the flag. Hosts included June Whipple, Dottie Enlow, Darlene Fulton, Sally Hagg and Mary Keeney.

Members celebrating birthdays during the month of November, included Mary Lou Garfield, Bill Sweeney, and Ellen Lord. Happy Birthday was sung to the members and a birthday cake made by Gail Keller.

Wendie Raynor read the minutes of the October meeting and Mary Lou Garfield gave the treasurer’s report. Both were approved as read. Cindy McIntyre, cheer person, reported she sent cards to Tom Smith, Melvin and Ellen Lord, Elaine Jensen and a sympathy card to the family of Leah Bullock. Cindy was asked to send a card to Tom Smith. She reported there was a special birthday card that needs to be signed to be sent to Bill Sweeney who could not attend the meeting.

Following dinner, members enjoyed a musical program by Virgil Rothra.
