District Governor Visits Frewsburg Lions Club
FREWSBURG – The recent club meeting of the Frewsburg Lions Club took place in September.
President Toni Stone introduced Lion Don Dove, Zone Chair who introduced District Governor, Bette Stonebraker.
Stonebraker spoke first about how phone communication has changed from the Alexander Graham Bell phone to the use of the current smart phone. She stressed the importance of communication and how traditional forms as well as social media should be utilized.
She also noted that Lions Club international worldwide goal is to increase membership from 1.4 to 1.5 million members by July 2026. She asked that every club work to do their part to achieve that goal.
