First Lutheran Church will have a celebratory concert and open house on Sunday, Sept. 29, at 4 p.m. in the church nave.

The concert will be part of a Dedication Sunday celebrating the newly renovated church chancel area where the old carpeting has been replaced by new red oak flooring, along with other upgrades that were made to the historic First Lutheran Church nave.

Concert participants will include the First Lutheran Choir, directed by Brian A. Bogey, organist/choirmaster; the First Lutheran Good News Handbell Ensemble, directed by Karen Linn; as well as several vocal soloists and piano and organ recitalists. Michelle Buttaglia, trumpeter, will be guest soloist.

An offering will be received and a reception will follow the concert. The public is welcome to attend.
