Dunkirk Man Charged In Marina Stabbing
DUNKIRK — A Dunkirk man has been charged in connection with a Saturday morning stabbing.
Around 6:40 a.m., Dunkirk Police responded to the area of the city marina for a report of a victim of an assault. On arrival, officers spoke with the victim who had sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect was located a short distance away and was detained at that time.
A warrant was later issued charging the suspect, Sean P. Korzenski, 31, with second-degree assault. Korzenski was additionally charged with criminal possession of a weapon and is being held pending arraignment in Dunkirk City Court.
The victim of the attack was treated at the Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo and released.
