Cowboy Is NCCR Dog Of Week

Cowboy

Cowboy is a recent arrival to the Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue who was rescued from an overcrowded shelter that ran out of room for him. He is an 2-year-old neutered male weighing in at about 45 pounds. His breed mix is thought to be mainly catahoula leopard dog – just look at the beautiful coat. Cowboy seems to get along well with other dogs, and he loves to play. He is a little nervous about riding in the car, but may adjust to it with practice and a few trips to the drive-through or the park. Cowboy is also somewhat shy around strangers and likes to check out new people at his own pace, but he warms up quickly and loves to be scratched and pet. He is waiting for a patient, caring family to find him and give him the forever home and love he deserves. You can read more about Cowboy and his adoptable friends, and apply online at www.caninerescue.org, or visit the shelter Monday through Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. at 7540 N. Gale Street in Westfield; no appointment required.

Starting at $3.50/week.
