The Community Music Project will begin its sixth season on Monday, Aug. 26, with a concert scheduled for Nov. 3.

The CMP Chorale will present, “You’ve Got A Friend” featuring the music of Alice Parker, Carly Simon, Carole King, Joni Mitchell and others on Nov. 3.

The CMP Chorale is open to singers of all levels and backgrounds from seasoned performers to those who enjoy singing in the shower.

The choir will be led by Rebecca Ryan, the group’s longtime director. Rehearsals will be held weekly in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Joining the CMP Chorale/Chautauqua Chamber Singers is a way to improve vocal skills and musical knowledge as well as to connect with others who share a passion for singing.
