Several members of the Striders organization in Jamestown have joined the Rotary Club of Jamestown as corporate members.
Initiated into the club by Rotary President Ruth Lundin as alternates for the Striders Club membership with Jen Swan-Leutz, executive director, are Kait Bowen-Burns and Kathy Benson.
Swan-Leutz is the primary member, and the additional members allow for more flexibility in attendance and participation for both Rotary and Striders.
Rotary is an international service organization with more than 1.4 million members in over 34,000 clubs world-wide. The organization’s members believe that we have a shared responsibility to take action on the world’s most persistent issues and by supporting world peace, the eradication of polio, promoting literacy, maternal and child health, and fostering clean water for all mankind among other issues.
