Rotary Club Awards Paul Harris Award To Ruth Lundin

Jamestown Rotary Club’s Foundation Chairman Joni Blackman, left, pins a Paul Harris Fellow award on outgoing club President Ruth Lundin.
Ruth Lundin, outgoing Rotary Club of Jamestown president, was recently presented with a Paul Harris Fellow award by club members as a gesture of appreciation.
Rotarians associate the naming of a Paul Harris Fellow as a tribute to a person who has demonstrated a shared purpose with the educational and humanitarian objectives of the Rotary Foundation. The recognition is named after Rotary’s founder, the late Paul Harris, a Chicago lawyer, who started Rotary with three business associates in 1905.
Rotary Club of Jamestown members made a gift to the Rotary Foundation in Lundin’s name for her year as president of the local organization.
