Jamestown Native Receives Distinguished Alumni Leadership Award

Dr. Greg Bohall

Dr Greg Bohall, a 2000 Jamestown High School graduate, was recently awarded the Distinguished Alumni Leadership award at Seton Hill University, Greensburg, Pa.

Recipients of the Distinguished Alumni Leadership Award demonstrate outstanding achievement and leadership in business and professions.

Bohall graduated from JCC in 2002, continued to Seton Hill, receiving his Bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2004. He earned a master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling from the State University at Buffalo and a doctoral degree in clinical forensic psychology in 2014 from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

He is a self-employed clinical forensic psychological consultant and co-owns Innovative Psychological Solutions, a Professional Corporation in Orange County, Calif., along with his wife. Their private practice provides clinical and forensic consultation to various organizations and systems throughout North America.

Bohall has also served as an adjunct instructor at Pepperdine University, the State University at Buffalo and Antioch University. He published his first textbook, The Psychologist’s Guide to Professional Development, in 2017 and has contributed to various textbooks, academic journals and other publications as an author and editor. He is under contract with Springer Publishing for a series of textbooks.

Bohall is internationally and nationally recognized as a certified rehabilitation counselor, a master addiction counselor, and an international certified alcohol and drug counselor.

Bohall is the son of Thomas Bohall and Elaine Bohall-Golden of Jamestown. He lives in Los Alamitos, Calif., with his wife, Dr Mary-Jo Bautista-Bohall and their two sons.
