A Jamestown man faces drug charges after a search warrant was executed at 7 Forest Park, Jamestown, on Thursday.
The Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force agents and Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 1:30 p.m. Thursday with assistance from the Jamestown Police Department’s SWAT team. Police say they found Nicholas J. Dean, 34, of Jamestown alone in the home at the time.
According to a police report, detectives found 21.3 grams of crack cocaine, 73.6 grams of fentanyl, 75.1 grams of methamphetamine, $1352.00 in United States Currency, a digital scale and packaging materials. Dean, who police said is on probation, was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, four counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts of criminally using drug paraphernalia.
Dean was taken to the county jail until he could be arraigned.
The FBI and Jamestown Fire Department also responded to the scene.
Dean was charged in March with three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, one count of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and one count of second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia after police officers responded to 116 Park St. to help county probation officers with a home check. According to the police report, officers made contact at the residence with Dean and found methamphetamine, fentanyl, buprenorphone hydrochloride pills, a digital scale, narcotic packaging materials, two spring-assisted switchblade knives, an electronic stun gun, and $8,085 in cash, which is suspected to be the proceeds of illegal narcotics sales.
