SILVER CREEK — A Jamestown woman has died from injuries suffered in a motor vehicle accident on Friday morning.

Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies report that they responded with Silver Creek Fire Department, Hanover Center Fire Department and Chautauqua County EMS to the 6:47 a.m. incident.

After an investigation, it was found that a single motor vehicle traveling on Dennison Road left the road and struck a tree. The vehicle operator, identified as Rachel Lynn Lucas, 54, was transported to ECMC by Mercy Flight where she later passed away from her injuries.
