Fenner Students Take Part In Scholastic Fair

Award winners of the recent Fenner Elementary School Scholastic Fair are pictured.

H.C. Fenner Elementary School students recently participated in the school’s Scholastic Fair.

Students took the time to work on a project idea that interested them and presented it to volunteer judges. A total of 62 projects were presented this year. Judges volunteered their time to come in and meet with each student who completed a project, asked questions, and judged projects on several criteria.

There were five winners per grade level and a Principal’s Choice award given at each grade level.

Third grade projects receiving top honors are: Cora J.-Solar Eclipse; August C.-Sweden; Lydia V.-Mixed Media; Kehda L.-Amazing World of Guinea Pigs; and Dexter R.-Technical Skills for Successful Soccer Players. The Principal’s Choice winner was Jayce S.-My Jaw Journey.

Fourth grade projects receiving top honors were: Audrianna S.-All About Horses; ; Shawn R.-Tornadoes; Conner H.-Sports; Holden T.-Chinchillas; Ariana T.-Solar System. The Principal’s Choice winner was Dylan M.-TJ Watt.

Fifth grade projects receiving top honors include: Tavaras W.-Contortion and Flexibility; Lydia S.-Origami; Jet M. and Collin C.-Jamestown Jackals; Layla R.-Cheer; Claire T.-The Magnificent 7; and Faith R. and Livianna C.-Laura Ingalls Wilder. The Principal’s Choice winner was Baseball Bats by Lukas Y. and Owen C.
