BPU, City Present Shults Ford With EV Charger Rebate

Ed Shults III, president of Ed Shults Ford, Jamestown, was recently presented with a $25,000 rebate check for installing a Level 3 fast EV charger at the Ford dealership on Washington Street.

Mayor Kimberly Ecklund, the president of the Jamestown Board of Public Utilities board, BPU Board Chairman Greg Anderson, BPU General Manager David L. Leathers, and staff were on hand for the presentation.

The BPU’s EV Charger Equipment Rebate program, which has now ended, funded the rebate. The charger is available to the dealer’s customers and the public.
