JHS National Honor Society Inducts 49 New Members

Jamestown High School recently welcomed 49 new inductees into its Kappa Alpha Tau Chapter of the National Honor Society during its annual induction ceremony held recently.

The ceremony included the JHS tradition of teachers introducing each candidate, as well as the lighting of the scholarship candle, which represents scholarship, service, leadership and character; the Honor Society poem, and pledge.

“We are so proud of these students and their dedication to their school and their community,” said Allyson Smith, JHS principal. “We look forward to the impact that they will continue to make on Jamestown High School.”

Senior candidates inducted were: Xavier Champagne, Gavin Cuoco, Maxwell Knight, Emma Krzana, Keith Miller, Caleb Piazza, Madison Potter, and Justin Saunders.

Junior candidates inducted were: Alexis Ackley, Khaled Alkhader, Olivia Beach Amber Becker, Grayson Bloomquist, Vysali Bommireddipalli, Conner Buck, Emily Cardinale, Lincoln Carpenter, Jarren Cotter, Liam Crandall, Conner Dean, Nilla Ecklof, Ashlynn Galeazzo, Kyle Green, Nolah Hamilton, Zoe Haskins, Belle Johnson, Kate Kathman, Jackson Kresge, Brighton Lumia, Graciella Melquist, Onnalee Nellis, Emma Olson, Nicholas Oste, Carson Panebianco, Braelyn Peterson, McKenzie Pickett, Raegan Powers, Lauren Prynn, Holden Putney, Zeiry Rosa, Jolee Schultz, Jillian Sharp, Preston Sperry, Bradyn Stevens, Kayamara Strudwick, Leo Tehan, Efstathios Theofilactidis, Madeleine Woodruff, and Addison Zahn.
