Jamestown High School Names March Students Of Month

Jamestown High School officials recently named the school’s Students of the Month for March. They are:

Alyson Canfield, a senior at Jamestown High School and the daughter of Bill and Alyssa Canfield. Alyson is the captain of the varsity softball team and the captain of the girls varsity basketball team. She also is a member of the National Honor Society. Alyson volunteers as a young girls travel basketball coach and kindergarten Sunday school teacher. In her spare time she enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends. After graduation, she plans to attend JCC.

Ashlyn Galeazzo, a junior at Jamestown High School and the daughter of Frank and Elizabeth Galeazzo. Ashlyn plays bass clarinet in the JHS Concert Band and is the drum major for the JHS Marching Band. She is a member of the A Capella Choir, as well as the Madrigal Singers. She serves as an officer for both the A Cappella choir and Concert Band. She also is a member of Student Council, Key Club, and participates on the varsity track and field team. After graduation, she plans to attend college for hospitality and tourism.

Luke Kirschman, a sophomore at Jamestown High School and the son of Stacy and Jeremy Kirschman. Luke excels at school activities and enjoys learning through scientific and mathematical programs that the school offers, taking multiple college classes. With help from these college classes, Luke plans to pursue genetic engineering after high school to open his own business. While this takes time, his spare time consists of playing video games and researching his interests.

Cameron Cooper, a freshman at Jamestown High School and the son of Latasha Cooper and grandson of both Linda Cooper and Thomas Holland. Cameron is Freshman Class co-president and participates in the Mixed Chorus. He is also a prominent member of the Yearbook Club, JHS Express Winterguard, and Quiz Bowl team. In his free time, Cameron enjoys studying and going on walks. After graduation, he plans to study environmental sciences at Cornell University.
