Falconer Senior To Participate In Statewide Conference
Addison Schrader
Senior Addison Schrader of Falconer Central School was recently selected to be a representative to the annual Students Inside Albany Conference to be held May 19-22.
Schrader’s trip is sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Chautauqua County. As one of 60 students across the state chosen to attend, Addison will engage in legislative shadowing experiences that will increase her understanding of the roles in government and how they impact New York state legislation and policy development.
This conference is designed to increase a student’s awareness of their responsibility in representative government. At Falconer, Addison is president of the Student Council, Senior Class, and Honor Society, the student representative on the Board of Education, a member of Envirothon, High School Bowl, Key Club, and Girls’ Athletic Association. She was captain of the varsity volleyball team and participates in varsity track and field.
After graduation in June, Addison plans to pursue a degree in political science.
