Calvin Yeskey

Calvin Yeskey, son of Joshua and Elisca Yeskey, has been selected this year as Maple Grove’s representative to attend the Hugh O’Brian Youth State Leadership Seminar (HOBY).

The program enables high school sophomores to strengthen their leadership abilities, allowing them to influence both their school and their community.

This year’s event will be held from June 14 to June 16 at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva. Yeskey will participate in three days of interactive leadership trainings, meet inspiring local leaders, and make powerful connections.

The representative will also learn about themselves, gain new skills and inspiration to make an impact in their own communities. After the seminar, many students are able to go on to change their surroundings and leave a positive influence in their generation.
