Langworthy Secures $3 Million For FeedMore WNY

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Nick Langworthy, R-23, has helped secure FeedMore WNY a $3 million allocation for a new building as part of House Resolution 4366, the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2024.
The legislation has passed the House of Representatives by a vote of 339 to 85. FeedMore WNY’s new 197,700 square foot building will be located in Hamburg and will provide additional space for food intake, logistics, and future initiatives.FeedMore WNY serves food pantries in Chautauqua and Cattaraugus counties.
“I’m proud to secure $3 million for Feedmore WNY’s new building in Hamburg to give them the space they need to continue their important work and provide more food to those who need it,” Langworthy said. “Access to nutritious food can be life-changing for individuals and families facing food insecurity. This investment will not only expand FeedMore WNY’s food intake capacity but enhance their ability to implement innovative programs and initiatives aimed at helping our neighbors.”
Langworthy had the opportunity to meet with a representative from Feedmore WNY recently to relay the good news in person.
