Five Charged After Charles Street Drug Bust

Five city residents face charges after a search warrant was served on a Charles Street apartment Thursday.

Around 10 a.m., members of the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force and Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 47 Charles St., lower apartment, with assistance from the Jamestown Police Department SWAT Team. After entering the apartment, the SWAT Team located seven individuals inside of the residence as well as 33.4 grams of cocaine, a small quantity of oxycodone pills, a small quantity of methamphetamine, $478, scales and packaging allegedly used in drug sales.

Sandra L. Pavlock, Larry L. Hicks, Larissa A. Pavlock, Robin M. Hadley, and Dontrel T. Buchanan — all residents of the apartment — were charged and taken to the city jail until they could be arraigned.

Pavlock, 44, was charged second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia, second-degree criminal nuisance as well as two counts each of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Hicks, 44, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia and second-degree criminal nuisance.

Larissa Pavlock, 25, Hadley and Buchanan were charged with second-degree criminal nuisance.

The Jamestown Police Department was assisted by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, Chautauqua County Emergency Services Tac Meds, and Jamestown Fire Department.
