Dunkirk Pair Charged In Crack, Cocaine Possession

Crack cocaine and cocaine were seized from a vehicle and two properties after a long-term narcotics investigation by members of the Dunkirk Police Department and the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.
Officers from the Dunkirk Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Doughty Street on a vehicle occupied by Carla Andujar-Rosado, 33, and Malvin Berrios, 29, both of Dunkirk. A search of the vehicle and the occupants resulted in a quantity of cocaine and crack cocaine being seized. A short time later the Dunkirk Police Special Response Team executed two search warrants. The first was at 77 Seventh St., lower apartment, followed by 217 Townsend St., upper apartment.
As a result of the stop and the two search warrants, investigators seized 41.07 grams of cocaine, 16.26 grams of crack cocaine, scales and packaging material for the distribution of narcotics, and $2,423.00. Berrios was charged with two counts of third-degree and fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia. Andujar-Rosado was charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Both were transported to Dunkirk Police Department where they were arraigned in the City of Dunkirk Court.
