Southwestern Central School defeated Tidioute Community Charter School 49-15 in a recent Media One High School Bowl match at Jamestown Community College.

In another match, Frewsburg Central School topped Maple Grove Central School 72-33.

Philipp Meyer and Nolan Lefler of Southwestern, and Xander Pitts of Frewsburg earned Player of the Match honors.

Southwestern (1-0) was represented by Lefler, Meyer, Cooper Degnan, Matthew Lefler, Rachel LeRoy, Sharlenna La, and Hunter Kestler.

Tidioute (0-1) team members were Ayden Bailor, Lauren Zahner, Owen Heenan, Darrion Craig, Caleb Morningstar, Caleb Hart, Baiden Blasser, and Michael Hulse.

In addition to Pitts, Aiden Haase, Madasyn Lander, Claire Spielman, Ella Fuller, Grace Gilevski and Olivia Nelson competed for Frewsburg (1-0).

The Maple Grove (0-1) team included Calvin Yeskey, Addison Bryant, Elora Watkins, Aiden Leonard, Aiden Maybach, and Tyler Harrell.
