Ross Grange Members Meet
Steve and Chris Hatfield shared with Ross Grange members their recent experiences visiting state and national parks in Utah with Ross Grange members.
Their 10-day travels included Salt Lake City and the salt flats. They visited the family research library as well as gardens. There were many types of canyons and scenery was much different that ours.
The Ross Grange meeting was preceded by a dish to share lunch with Mary Jane Griffith asking the blessing. Minutes of the November and December were read and approved.
The treasurer’s report was given and books have been audited and found in good order. Betty Wakefield reminded members that 2025 we will be observing 150 years as a community grange.
Discussion was held regarding legislation for better lighting on Amish buggies. Legislative chairman Steve Kimball will check current regulations to report at the next meeting.
On Feb. 12, Ross will host the County Pomona meeting. Plans were made for lunch to be served at 12:30 PM. The program will be announced when final plans are completed.
