‘Priscilla’ To Be Shown At Reg Lenna

A scene from the film Priscilla is pictured. The film will be screened Wednesday at the Reg Lenna Center for the Arts.

The Reg Lenna Center for the Arts will show the film Priscilla at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

When teenage Priscilla Beaulieu meets Elvis Presley at a party, the man who is already a meteoric rock-and-roll superstar becomes someone entirely unexpected in private moments: a thrilling crush, an ally in loneliness, a gentle best friend. Through Priscilla’s eyes, Sofia Coppola tells the unseen side of a great American myth in Elvis and Priscilla’s long courtship and turbulent marriage, from a German army base to his dream-world estate at Graceland, in this deeply felt and ravishingly detailed portrait of love, fantasy, and fame. Priscilla is rated R and is 110 minutes long. The film is directed by Sofia Coppola.

Upcoming Movies @ The Reg include a 35th anniversary special engagement of Scrooged (Dec. 20 at 7 p.m.) and the historical drama Killers of the Flower Moon (Jan. 6 at 4 p.m.)

Tickets to Movies at The Reg are $7 for movies and $6 for family films, with an additional $1 theater restoration fee added. Special movie engagements are priced differently. They may be purchased from noon to 5 p.m. Monday and Friday and noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at 716-484-7070 and online at reglenna.com.
